If you’re thinking about buying but aren’t set on a timeline, that’s okay! It’s good to poke around and see what’s out there before you feel like you have to commit to anything.
It’s still a good idea to get a head start, do some research, and connect with an agent that’s a right fit and has your best interests in mind. You’ll want to find someone that you get along with, can easily communicate with, and who is well aware of your needs and wants in your next home.
I like to get a headstart with my clients well before they’re ready to submit an offer on a home so that we can study the market, better understand their wants and needs, and ultimately, help them find the home that’s a best fit for what they’re looking for and what they can afford. It’s part of my job to help you along the way regardless of how early the process starts. Assuming you choose me to represent you, I will do everything in my power to help you get the home of your dreams, regardless of how long that takes.
Sometimes homes pop up that are perfect for you and even though you might not feel ready, when the right opportunity presents itself, you’ll know what to do whether it’s time to make a move sooner than you thought, or hold out for other options.
Buyers often find that after looking at homes for a while their needs or tastes may change. By beginning your search early you allow yourself the time to adapt and vary your needs/wants.
Additionally, the market is constantly changing and by working with me in advance I can keep you in tune with what’s going on and whether it’s a good time to buy or to wait.
